Laughter Yoga in the Workplace
L aughter Yoga is a wellness and teambuilding program that is being incorporated into businesses all over the United States. Employees report better communications, increase in work satisfaction, increase in productivity and a decrease in illness and employee turnover.
In laughter yoga, employees are asked to do something that may be unfamiliar at work: laugh. Laughter is the game at laughter yoga and everyone is instructed to “fake it till you make it” because “scientifically, your brain doesn’t know the difference between fake and real laughter. Even better, the brain, when thinking positive is 31% more productive than at negative, neutral or stressed states.

In addition to this, it helps lift depression and reduces blood pressure.
